Micropolis Robotics, An UAE-based Autonomous mobile robot company, in coordination with the Dubai police, employed M01 & M02 police patrol at the main entrance of Dubai World Cup 2022 held at the Meydan Racecourse.

These patrols were equipped with the Microspot Artificial Intelligence (AI) system to maintain security. The system facilitated the enhancement of security with its distinct features such as face recognition – which helped to make the zone free of criminals by scanning everyone, Plate detection – To scan every car that entered the event, and Criminal behavior -to enhance security and safety, Weapon detection -to make the zone weapon-free, criminal logic – to monitor every behavior and suspicious people entering the event.

The system is associated with Dubai Police’s Oyoon Artificial intelligence security surveillance program. Dubai Police wanted to use this experiment at the event to prevent any unfavorable incidents and to track criminals using AI and face recognition technology.

This experimental system with Dubai police patrols aimed to ensure the safety and security of participants and spectators and stamp the success of the world’s largest horse racing event on the global agenda.

Previously, Micropolis announced a $4 million Seed Round investment led by Mind rock Capital, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm. The purpose of the investment was to boost commercial production capabilities and other fund R&D and business development. 

Earlier, at the World Police Summit, Dubai Police used a self-driving patrol car and drones from the micropolis to monitor the roads and skies.
